    • An IT Services organisation growing their IT services offerings and customer base are now seeking a Solutions Architect based in Coventry to join its expanding team. The company is committed to investing in technology to update its technology offerings and value its teams as individuals, investing in their career development. The company don’t pigeon hole people and value all their talents and offer regular family entertainment and charity events. As the Solutions Architect your duties will include: • Working with a range of customers, mainly in the retail business arena, to show them how the IT services and products offered can benefit their business. • Providing excellent service delivery to PCMS internal and external customers through delivery of controlled project management and services. • Defining and promoting (internally and externally) IT products and operational services that comprise the PCMS Managed Services Portfolio. • Provide clear, precise and accurate design specifications / blueprints to support business and customer strategy. • Ensure all technical solutions and operational services are cost effective adding value to business. • Ensure systems architectures balance functional, service quality and operation services / system management requirements. • Aid the IT Change Team with the development of the design and the identification of build activities with a programme and project work-streams. To be a successful Solutions Architect you will have the following skills and experience: • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Senior Technical Lead or a VM Ware Lead with good storage and networking experience who wants to move into a Solutions Architect role. • Technical experience in Cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, licensing, automation etc. • Excellent customer service skills. • Proven experience of designing IT Solutions and of designing IT Operational Services. • Strong Data-Centre / Managed IT Services background. • Experienced in defining £k to £m IT Solutions. • Strong experience in all major IT vendor hardware and software. • ITIL Practitioner. • Technical Accreditation e.g. CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CISP.
