- A Project Manager with Prince 2 experience/certification and recent experience of project managing mergers/demergers in a corporate environment. Management of a virtual team of 3 or 4 including third party resource, you'll be responsible for part of a defined IT demerger project between 2 corporate businesses, including the budget. Dealing with internal stakeholders and managing the steering group activities, you'll ensure appropriate documentation from tenders, feasibility studies, project plans, risk and issue registers to project audits and closure reports. You'll be reporting into the Chief Information Officer of one of the businesses and althougth based in central London, there will be some occasional travel within the UK.
Ensuring that the demerger is completed to budget and time will sometimes involve you in IT infrastructure and applications migration, as well as discussions around commercial terms with key stakeholders. You'll need 5 years plus current project management experience, including some experience of working in outsourced environments, have good presentation and communication skills, Prince 2 and ITIL experience. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be used to working in the UK.
